SLB Eclipse 2023 for PC Windows

Description

The SLB Eclipse 2023 release includes improved performance, usability, and functionality for the reservoir simulator, with highlights in extended modeling for user-defined arguments in field management, enhanced reporting for multi-segment wells, and improvements to CO2STORE workflows. Key features include better performance in parallel processing, the ability to modify individual well connections with global grid keywords, and new functionalities for both ECLIPSE 100 and 300 simulators. 

• Multi-segment well reporting:

  Enhanced reporting for summary keywords allows the well name to be defaulted to produce output for all multi-segment wells. 

• Parallel performance:

  Improvements have been made to the parallel processing capabilities, including better termination for runs with unsupported keywords and improved processing of local grid refinements. 

• Enhanced wellbore modeling:

  The drift-flux model allows for more accurate wellbore storage modeling by enabling phases to flow in opposite directions at low flow rates during shut-in tests 

• Global well connection modification:

  For wells with connections in both global and local grids, it is now possible to use global grid keywords to modify individual connections. 

• New CO2STORE workflows:

  The release includes new developments and improved functionality for CO2STORE workflows. 

• Simplified data generation:

  Modified example datasets can now generate INIT files, allowing results to be imported directly into Petrel software. 

• Robust cutback evaluation:

  The evaluation of cutbacks applied on the same time step has been made more robust.
