It is a powerful tool developed to handle the complexities of pile group analysis. It employs advanced algorithms to compute the distribution of loads applied from multiple locations in a pile cap to piles arranged in a group. The program also generates nonlinear responses of the soil, including t-z and Q-w curves for axial loading, p-y curves for lateral loading, and T-q curves for torsional loading.
It supports various pile sections to accommodate different project requirements:
It accepts combined loadings with load factors and computes maximum and minimum envelopes for load cases and combinations. Users can specify concentrated loads at the pile cap or distributed lateral loads along any pile(s) length. It also includes an option to use a cyclic model for soil p-y curves.
Users can input a profile of soil movements versus depth as additional loading on the pile. These soil movements may result from various actions such as slope instability, lateral spreading during earthquakes, and seepage forces.
