Description
The latest release of Siemens Simcenter HEEDS MDO v2504 focuses on enhancing design exploration through updated surrogate modeling, better visualization, AI-accelerated workflows, and deeper integration with other simulation tools. It is a multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) software that automates the process of finding better product designs faster.
VCollab v25 is a companion technology used for accelerating the visualization, analysis, and sharing of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) results. It facilitates rapid review and collaboration on large simulation datasets, which is crucial for making informed design decisions.
Simcenter HEEDS MDO v2504 features
Simcenter HEEDS is built to automate the design exploration process using proprietary and adaptive search algorithms like SHERPA.
What’s new in v2504?
- Streamlined surrogate modeling: A new, consolidated “Surrogates” tab in the user interface makes it easier to create, evaluate, and apply surrogate models.
- Enhanced data visualization: New data-mining and visualization tools allow for better insights. This includes an updated Boruta influence plot for analyzing variable sensitivity and new effects in parallel plots.
- AI-accelerated search: The AI Simulation Predictor has been upgraded to utilize parallel computing resources more efficiently, providing faster search and prediction times.
- Smarter workflow automation: Improvements have been made to tagging, including smarter file grouping and a new tree structure for better transparency. Support for Python print statements has been added for easier debugging.
- Expanded integrations (Portals): The software’s connectivity has been boosted with updates to existing portals (e.g., Simcenter Amesim and NX) and new portals for tools like Ansys Discovery and Aspen HYSYS.
