Features and functions of SmartDraft for AutoCAD & Civil:

• SmartDraft Suite is a complete suite of AutoCAD productivity enhancements. The suite provides tools for layout and profile labeling, site planning, block (symbol) library management, point placement and labeling, and many general drafting enhancements. These tools are designed for civil engineers, surveyors, mapping specialists, and drafting professionals. SmartDraft PConnect and HEC-RAS Tools are optional add-ons to SmartDraft Suite.
• SmartDraft Survey is a subset of the SmartDraft Suite focused on surveyors and surveying professionals. Survey provides tools for labeling and modifying labels of lines and curves with bearing, distance, delta, radius, tangent, etc. Survey also provides tools for placing and labeling points, creating completion reports, and writing legal descriptions of polylines or segments, as well as tools for plotting. SmartDraft PConnect is an optional add-on for SmartDraft Survey.
• SmartDraft PConnect is an easy-to-use, superior point-to-point connection tool designed to combine the best features of point coding with an easy-to-use, yet powerful 2D and 3D line control language. PConnect’s advanced extension codes give the operator greater flexibility and the ability to generate work lines and automatic layering. PConnect can use your company’s specific description keys, along with its extension codes, to create robust geometry from field-collected survey data. Work lines are drawn on specified layers according to a description key style file.
• SmartDraft Construction Notes tools automate the process of placing construction notes and creating a table or list of construction notes. Use single reference symbol, leader with reference symbol, multiple leaders with reference symbol, leader with text, or leader, reference symbol, and text. After placing construction note reference symbols, a construction notes table can be created from the symbols.
• SmartDraft HEC-RAS Tools provides an excellent set of tools for exchanging data between Civil 3D and HEC-RAS. Create a HEC-RAS data file from section lines, an alignment, and a surface. Create section lines at specified stations along an alignment. Import a HEC-RAS flood line into Civil 3D. Draw a HEC-HAS cross section in Civil 3D.
